THE VALUE OF INFORMATION

What is good information worth to you? How could you put a dollar value on it?
Or should you put a dollar value on it - in if so what should that value be?
It seems like a very silly question, but its something worth considering and the best way one can answer it is with an example...

Let's say we have a WebTV Show on Health & Wellness - much like ours, which gives you a show every week, each one on a very specific ailment - its cause, its prevention & also its treatment - and this show is being hosted by a highly respected and experienced professional who is at the top of their game.

Now before we go any further, here's a question worth considering...
What is your health worth to you personally - in terms of dollars, that is...

Is it worth a million dollars to you, to be saved from a premature death?
Is it worth a hundred thousand dollars to be freed from a lifetime of chronic ill-health?
Is it worth Ten thousand dollars to be relieved from chronic pain or symptoms that make your life a misery?
Maybe its worth just a thousand dollars to you to have someone suggest a solution that has been plaguing you for years?
That's a question you'd have to answer that for yourself - after all, you're the best person to evaluate the worth of any solution to your present or future problems.

But now, let's evaluate the cost...
Let's say this show costs you 10 dollars or so each month -
which is about 120 dollars a year for viewing more than 50 shows, each one addressing a very specific topic of common concern -
which works out to 2 dollars and 50 cents per show.

Chances are, that from 50 such information-heavy shows, you are bound to get at least ONE nugget of information - that one gem that will help you resolve at least ONE of your health issues that could either...
Save your life,
Free you from a lifetime of pain,
Or resolve a non-life-threatening yet annoying health issue that interferes with your enjoyment of life...

Its the same with any other type of information show - the show on Small Business for example...

What if one of the shows hosted by a respected business lawyer, shows you how to prevent a catastrophy that could ruin your livelihood?
Or the Tax Expert who could show you how to avoid getting audited AND save thousands of dollars on refunds?
The Financial Advisor who could help prevent your losing hundreds of thousands on unsafe investments?
Or the Sales Consultant - whose one tip could land you a contract worth tens of thousands of dollars?

Now you tell me - having that expert share their hard earned knowledge with you for 30 minutes each week - is that or is that not, time well spent?

And here's the kicker - wouldn't that be the best 2 dollars and 50 cents you've ever invested in your life, your business or your health?
