A Broader Mission Statement I have always dreamed of bringing some kind of useful purpose to my life and work and while the business of Streaming Video Production & Online Promotion has certainly been exciting it always felt like there was something missing. Back in India, working as a physician, that sense of purpose was certainly fulfilled, especially when it came to being able to help underprivileged. But after moving to Canada in 1991, when practicing medicine was no longer possible, I switched careers to return to my original passion - art and communicating with images - which translated into the business I am in today - interesting & exciting no doubt, to be on the cutting edge of an industry, but again - always left me wondering what I could do to revive that sense of purpose I thought I'd lost.
There is a dearth of information out there, some of it great and some terrible and the opportunity to provide good as well as practically useful information that actually helped people who are actively seeking seeking answers and assistance was very attractive. This project is about making solid, reliable and ethical information available to anyone looking for it and to provide it in a framework that is easily accessible as well as affordable, be it in the areas of health, wealth, business or happiness... But I also have another agenda - I also wanted to somehow incorporate a way to raise awareness for the many wonderful organizations that actively provide help and support to those in desperate need. Now there are many wonderful organizations that many of you probably support - foundations looking for cures for breast cancer, heart disease or Alzheimers, programs to end poverty or provide assistance to the homeless - all worthy and wonderful causes. But my interests have always tended towards speaking on behalf of those who have no voice - literally! Children and animals! Which is the reason for including a screen such as this on our site. The organizations you see here are just a sampling of the many which are dedicated to helping those innocent victims of life - victims who cannot speak for themselves - especially in the underprivileged regions of the world - Innocents who are neglected, exploited and abused, with no regard for the pain they are forced to suffer in silence. Ruchika, for example, is a wonderful organization I personally work with, which saves children abandoned on the railway platforms of India who are being sexually & physically exploited. And then there are other exceptional organizations I am not directly associated with but which I wish to profile here simply because I admire what they stand for... There's The Child Rescue Association of North America which fights child slavery - there are organizations like Animal Rahat, SPANA, IDA, PAWS & WSPA - amazing groups of compassionate and caring individuals who have come together to rescue abandoned and abused animals, neglected working animals, including circus animals and those used for cruel blood sports. There is one thing I should clarify - I do not believe in asking others to support my personal causes, nor am I doing so now. The only reason I have included this screen in a site like this one, is to leverage this opportunity to reach a wider audience for raising awareness of so many worthwhile causes that some in our audience may not even be aware of. It doesn't matter whether you or your friends choose to support these or any other cause - if this screen can help uncover the full depth of compassion that I know is already within us, it will have fulfilled a far greater purpose than the dissemination of knowledge... ...and if it does, well then I will have found that sense of purpose once more. ...and that is why we exist

Ruchika (www.ruchika.org) is a wonderful organization I support, which saves & rehabilitates children abandoned on the railway platforms of India, from being sexually & physically exploited. It was founded by Inderjit Khurana, an exceptional lady I came to know well, who has since passed away, but her legacy & memory live on.
And there is this amazing group of compassionate and caring individuals who have come together to form Animal Rahat (www.animalrahat.com) another great organization which cares for abandoned and abused animals in urban & rural areas.
The Child Rescue Association of North America (www.childrescue.org) fights Child Slavery & sexual exploitation of children
SPANA (http://spana.org) cares for ill-treated working animals by providing free veterinary care, owner education and refuge...
WSPA (www.wspa.ca) stands up for abused animals all over the world...
...while IDA (www.idausa.org) is an international organization which rescues domestic animals, wildlife and pets being subjected to intolerable cruelty.
PAWS (www.pawsweb.org) is dedicated to rescuing animals from circuses & so-called 'entertainment' businesses, while being ill-trained using cruel & inhumane methods.
Note: Aside from donating to their causes, we are not directly connected with the organizations shown here, except for Ruchika, with which we have a long standing relationship by volunteering to build and maintain their website and helping with their promotion and fund-raising efforts.
